In August, we have the Sendai Tanabata Festival rooted back to Edo era. It is also known as “Star Festival” and means “Evening of the Seventh.” The festival features stunning Tanabata decorations such as colorful paper strips on bamboo branches in the hope that adorn the city's shopping arcades and streets.  Many tourists visit in this season, and this will surely be unforgettable experience.
